Meet the Veterinarian and staff of Wildflower Veterinary Services in Graham, WA.
Please call us at 253-847-1626 to speak to one of our caring veterinary staff members!
Dr. Gillette has been in practice for over 30 years and has specialized in equine medicine and surgery for the last 25 years. He reveived his veterinary medicine degree from WSU, after ranching in central Oregon where he raised cattle and horses for a number of years. He often states “it is a real joy to be associated with critter people, and to share their love of their animals and their families”. He has served in the community in many aspects such as Chaplain for Graham Fire and Rescue and has served as President of Pierce County Backcountry Horseman, member of the American Horse Council and past delegate to the American Animal Health Association. Dr. Gillette has worked with wildlife, birds of prey, llamas, and ostriches over the years. Quality medicine and surgery has always been his goal for those in his care. Dr. Gillette’s love of horses and mules extends to trail riding, especially in the high country, arena jumping and the great associations with what he calls critter people and their animals. Dr. Gillette enjoys presenting seminars to educate clients in order to broaden the knowledge of equine husbandry to assure the health and well being of their four legged friends. With his wife Laurie they share an eleven acre farm occupied by horses, mules, llamas, a dog and cats. A section of property has been set aside for a myriad of wildcritters and birds to call home as well.
